The South Prairie School Athletics Department announces that Sheila Green-Gerding has been hired as the head high school girls basketball coach.
Coach Gerding just completed her fifth year at South Prairie as the school counselor. Previously, she was the head women's basketball coach at Minot State for 22 years and was recently inducted into the Minot State Hall of Fame. She is also in the MSU Northern Hall of Fame as a player and played professional basketball in New Zealand. She has 33 years of coaching Experience.
Coach Gerding is married to David Gerding and has three children- Riley (24), Makya (15), and Kaimbree (13).
