South Prairie Public School Foundation
The South Prairie School Foundation was organized to provide and promote educational opportunities and assistance to the youth of South Prairie Public School.
How it Started
The South Prairie Public School Foundation was established in 2021 by the South Prairie School Board. The South Prairie School Board created a board of directors for the foundation to generate funds and other gifts for the benefit of the school district. In 2022 the SPS Foundation obtained its 501 (c)(3) status as a tax-exempt organization. Donors may deduct contributions to the South Prairie School Foundation as provided in section 170 of the tax code. Bequests, legacies, devises, transfers and gifts to the SPS Foundation for its use are deductible for federal, estate and gift tax purposes if they meet the provisions of the tax code.
Support Your Passion
The South Prairie Public School Foundation provides funding opportunities for a variety of programs across the district. These opportunities range from basic needs to scholarship opportunities. Donations help enrich the educational experience of the students at South Prairie Public School.
