Chapter Reporter, Gracie Rauschenberger
South Prairie sent its Nursery and Landscape, Floriculture, and Small Animal Care teams to Minot to compete against teams from the area. In the Nursery and Landscape contest, Cameron Sys and Connor Johnson finished silver. Layne Novak and Annaliese Rauschenberger were both gold individuals, with Layne taking third and Annaliese winning first place! Their team was first place overall.
In Floriculture, Miranda Novodvorsky and Annabelle Fraunfelter received silver.
The Small Animal Care team took first place! Amber Braasch took Silver. Natalee Becker, Gracie Rauschenberger, and Maddie Hogue finished gold. Gracie came in third place, and Natalee took first place!
Carrington CDE Workout
As state convention approaches, FFA members are working harder than ever to prepare, from attending practices at the school, to studying on their own time, to out of town practices! This month members traveled down to Carrington, along with teams from around the state, to gain better insight on their contests.
May FFA Meeting
In third place was Annaliese Rauschenberger, Evan Mineke, Ethan Johnson, Derek Faul, and Layne Novak! The second-place team was Burke Rauschenberger, Brady Johnson, Jameson Behm, Carter Sys, and Weston Sauby! And finally, the 2023 Ag Olympics first place team was Riley Johnson, Cameron Sys, Jacob Kramer, and Connor Johnson! Award winners were presented with various prizes including food and gift cards.
