South Prairie School is having a Scholastic Book Fair in the Library!

October 9-13 and 16-19: Open daily from 8:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m.
Extended Hours: October 16 and 17: 4:00-7:00 (Parent/Teacher Conferences)
** During the first week, students will have an opportunity to visit the book fair to preview the books and other items and write up their own wish list to take home with them. (Copies of wish lists for grades PreK-5 will be available at the fair.) Students can shop the first week too. Teachers may also have a classroom wish list. Patrons have the opportunity to purchase a book from the list or make a monetary donation towards the purchase of classroom books. Gift certificates for students and staff members are available as well.
** During the second week of the fair, students will be able to purchase books during their library time, or at any time during regular school hours.
** Scholastic is now charging sales tax on purchases at a rate of 5.5%
** Online shopping is available through the Homepage, beginning October 5th and ending on the 18th. Free standard shipping is available on book-only orders of $25 or more. Everything ships right to your home and 25% of every online purchase during the fair benefits our school.
** A safe, cashless payment option is available for students called the eWallet. Scan the QR code below. Families can create an eWallet account and funds are immediately available for use at the in-school book fair. Other family members and friends can contribute to this too. Leftover funds can be used to shop online with Scholastic or fund an eWallet for a future book fair.
** Proceeds from book fair sales go toward the purchase of library books and other materials. Thank you for supporting our library!
