STEMpathy: where empathy and innovation collide! 

During their weekly counseling lesson, students in Mrs. Whitfield's 4th grade class were given a scenario card and had to work together to move through the engineering design process: empathize (how is the person feeling?), hypothesize (what barriers are preventing the person from accessing their environment?), and innovate (what can you design to remove the barriers?). Students used empathy, teamwork, and creativity to then build their designs with LEGOs!
