The high school painting class recently studied Impressionism for landscape paintings. Students learned about the impressionist movement and studied works by Claude Monet, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, and Alfred Sisley. Students then took their own source image for a landscape painted entirely using palette knives and large amounts of acrylic paint.
