𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐭𝐨 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬
South Prairie School District is preparing for an important statewide technology transition as part of North Dakota’s BRIDGE Project (Building Reports Informing Data-driven Growth in Education), led by the North Dakota Department of Public Instruction (NDDPI).
Through this initiative, school districts across North Dakota will transition from PowerSchool to Infinite Campus, a modern, unified Student Information System (SIS) launching statewide on July 1, 2026. Infinite Campus is a widely adopted platform for statewide implementations, used by education systems across the country. Including: 11 million students, in over 3,200 school districts, across 46 states, and 10 state education agencies.
𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐌𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐅𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:
Infinite Campus will provide a more modern and streamlined experience for students, parents, and staff, including improvements to:
• Access to grades, attendance, and schedules
• Communication between schools and families
• Overall ease of navigating student information
The new system is designed to create a more consistent and user-friendly experience across all North Dakota schools.
𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐈𝐬 𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠:
The BRIDGE Project is part of a broader statewide effort to modernize education data systems and better support student success. By moving to a unified platform, districts will benefit from:
• More consistent and reliable data
• Improved tools for educators and administrators
• Better insights to support teaching and learning

South Prairie School District and NDDPI are committed to protecting student information throughout this transition. Strong safeguards are in place to ensure that student data remains secure, accurate and protected throughout the migration process.
