Today was the regional tournament for the varsity girls at Souris Valley Golf Course in Minot. The team placed 4th, just missing qualifying for state by one place.

Trap Shooters Place at DLB Harvest Shoot
Mason Boehler posted a score of 78 to win the novice division at the Laker Harvest Shoot held today at the Minot Gun Club.
Breanna Mindt shot 88 to place 3rd in the Varsity Ladies division.

🏀The 5/6th Grade GBB game today will be played at South Prairie, NOT at DLB. First game will still start at 4:00 p.m.
Congratulations to Addison Herzig on qualifying for state golf at yesterday's individual qualifier at the Minot Air Force Base! In order to qualify, you have to shoot 15 over par or better, and she shot an 85! This is the first time in school history that a golfer has qualified individually by score in order to qualify! Great job, Addison!
There are two more individual qualifier tournaments -- tomorrow at Rugby and next week at Bottineau. After that, South Prairie will host the regional tournament at Souris Valley Golf Course on Wednesday. September 16th where the top 3 teams and top 10 individuals all qualify for state as well! Good luck, Royals!

Students in grades 6-12, remember that today is the last day to get your forms turned in if you intend to run for a class officer position! Pick up a form in the commons area and turn it in to the high school office!
Once you apply, your name will be on the ballot for your class to vote for on Thursday!
Being a class officer (joining student council) is a great way to be involved in class decisions, improves your leadership skills, and you can make new friends from our school and all over the state at state student council!
