Update (March 18th): The South Prairie staff is continuing to prepare our distance education instructional plan. Today was the first day we delivered lunches and it went well. If you want to be added or removed from the lunch list, make sure you call the school.

Update (March 17th): The South Prairie Staff has met today and started developing a plan for instruction if school closures would extend past this week. Tomorrow, we will start delivering lunches to those who requested them by following the bus routes. The lunches will arrive at your stop four hours after your normal bus pickup time. For example, if your child is normally picked up at about 7:15, then you should expect lunches to be delivered at approximately 11:15. The Kmart and YMCA stops will both pick up lunches at the Y from 11:30 to 12:30. If you were not able to fill out the survey or request lunches, please contact the school or fill out the survey that is linked at the bottom of this post. Also, just as another reminder, all practices and competitions have been suspended indefinitely by the NDHSAA. This includes fine arts music festivals and contests, FBLA, FFA, and archery. We will keep you informed about other events as we find out more information. UPDATE: Administrative teams have met per the request of Governor Burgum. Staff and teachers will be in the rest of the week to develop a current plan and prepare for possible extended closures. As we prepare to finalize our plans, we request that every family fill out the attached survey to determine the best plan of action to meet the needs of our school district. After visiting more with staff and evaluating the survey results, we will update you on future plans by 4:00 p.m. tomorrow.
