Elementary's Field Day had to be moved inside due to the rain yesterday, but they made the best of it! A big thank you to Mrs. Myers for organizing the afternoon, thank you to the parent volunteers, that kept the games running and thank you to South Prairie PTO for providing the popsicle treats, and the class t-shirts!! Fun was had by ALL!

I want to thank the South Prairie community for helping to make this my second home for the past 28 years. I have been so blessed and honored to have been a part of the lives of staff, parents, students, and the ROYAL’S community. As I retire and drive home today, I take you with me in my heart and soul. I look forward to still being a ROYAL in the future, just in different ways.

It's the last day of school! Just a reminder that students will be dismissed at 12:00 today, and buses will run at 12:10.
Graduation will be on Sunday at 2:30 🎓
Today's play-in baseball game has been postponed to Saturday at 2:00 at Corbett Field.
Jh/JV boys golf today was canceled.
Regional track will be Saturday at Minot High starting at 12:00.
Softball will play Saturday with location and time tbd.

Julie and Pete Stewart and coming to South Prairie to put on camps for all ages.
Julie is a three time state champion coach for Bishop Ryan High School and is the Current Head Coach and Wayzata a 5A school in Minneapolis. Pete is the former Head Coach at Minot State and is currently running basketball training skills throughout Minneapolis. We a conducting a survey to see who would be interested in attending camps on June 14th and 15th.

The kindergartners and seniors will walk the hallways together tomorrow at 8:40, if any parents or people want to come for it, they can gather in the hallways at 8:30 am!

Stacy Allard from Dakota College at Bottineau is coming tomorrow to speak with students who are interested in taking dual credit college courses next year. Students can start taking dual credit courses their 10th grade year (if they meet the requirements). We look forward to this being a very helpful communication tool for the future, and we chose to start rolling it out now so it's not brand new to everyone at the start of next school year.
Once you're signed in, you'll be able to see weekly posts and end of the year notes from your child's teacher for this school year! After this year, teachers plan to use the Classrooms feature for class announcements, reminders, and to communicate with parents when needed!
The Fourth and fifth graders had a great time at the math meet Friday in Burlington.
Fourth grade took 1st for the team event! Beau B took 4th, Maddox B took 3rd and Dillon S took 2nd in the individual event.
