The live video will begin shortly before the ceremony begins at 2:30 p.m. This will be a public video that anyone can watch and share even if they don't have Facebook, and it will be pinned at the top of the Facebook page for you to watch afterwards as well. Here is a look at the cover of this year’s yearbook! There are 13 days left to buy one. The order will be put in June 2nd so the last day to buy one is June 1st! They are $50 on efunds. When you log in to efunds, go to optional fees and it is listed there.

Good morning! Here is today's morning announcement! Tomorrow will be the last day that lunches will be delivered. Remember that the drop-off to return all school materials continues today for grades 6-12 with last names ending in P-Z from 9:00 a.m to 4:00 p.m. To drop-off materials, come to the high school office entrance. If you miss the drop-off today, you can also drop off your materials tomorrow from 9:00 to 12:00 p.m. Everyone can also send materials back on the bus by tomorrow at the latest! The drop-off for elementary students is this evening following this schedule: PreK-1st Grade- 6:00 to 6:30 p.m. 2nd Grade- 6:30 to 7:00 3rd Grade- 7:00 to 7:30 4th Grade- 7:30 to 8:00 5th Grade- 8:00 to 8:30 p.m. The 6-12th grade drop-off continues with last names starting in I-O today from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and P-Z tomorrow from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. If you can't make it to your time, then you can drop of materials on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. *You can also send your materials back in your boxes on the bus! All materials need to be back by Wednesday at the latest!

Library Update: Please check the lists to see if you have books checked out from the SP library or from the bookmobile. There are still 114 books out there, just from SP. SOUTH PRAIRIE DRIVER ED UPDATE South Prairie Driver Education will hold classroom instruction for students June 1st-5th. 9am-3pm. The classroom will be held in the commons area by Mr. Cooper. Parents are advised to keep students home if they are not feeling well. Students should bring their own lunch, notebook and pencil/pen. A revised Driver Ed packet and registration form is included here. Parents can send registration in to South Prairie office, or email it to Mr. Cooper. Otherwise, students can also hand registration in on the first day of class June 1st. Payment for the class needs to be in before class starts no later than May 25. Parents can pay using E-Funds or by mailing checks to South Prairie office. Make checks payable to South Prairie High School. Here is a message from Mrs. Hiltner about library books that are checked out and the success of the pop tab collection: This is the updated library list of books still checked out from the SP library and the bookmobile. Please check to see if you have books checked out and return them ASAP when lunches are delivered. The new total for SP is 122 books. It’s getting better but we still have a long ways to go. Thank you to those who have already returned books. Much appreciated! Also, here is a note from the Garrison ND American Legion & Auxiliary Post 49. South Prairie Royals are a part of this too! “Thank you and congratulations! Garrison Post 49 had the highest count for Pop Tab Collections 2020, with 93,312, or 57.06 tabs. Thank you to all the Garrison students who have brought in tabs, and for the community members who have saved for us. Great job. Since there will be no Department convention this is the count for the year. Our Department Children and Youth department goal is 1 million, so let’s get a good jump on that number for next year. All proceeds from the tabs go to the Ronald McDonald house and they really appreciate our efforts.”

UPDATED PLAN FOR RETURNING MATERIALS: (Materials = any computers, chargers, iPads, assignments, textbooks, library books, bookmobile books etc. that belong to the school and need to be returned) *Update: All students have two options to return materials to the school. Option 1: Send materials back on the bus using your box that will be sent back by today. If you don’t have your box, make sure you pick it up at the YMCA (all other boxes will be delivered on the bus route). You can send your materials back on the bus any day by Wednesday, May 20th. Option 2: Drop off materials at the school. Elementary Drop-off on Monday, May 18th: PreK-1st Grade- 6:00 to 6:30 p.m. 2nd Grade- 6:30 to 7:00 3rd Grade- 7:00 to 7:30 4th Grade- 7:30 to 8:00 5th Grade- 8:00 to 8:30 p.m. 6th-12th Grade (*UPDATED): Last names ending in the following letters will drop off materials on the corresponding day anytime from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. If you need in the school, you will be escorted to your locker or gym locker to grab your belongings during this time as well. A-H: Friday, May 15th I-O: Monday, May 18th P-Z: Tuesday, May 19th *Anyone that misses a day will have until Wednesday, May 20th at noon.
