𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒖𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔 to Mrs. Paula Rauschenberger on being named the 2024 CSTAND Class B Director of the Year. The award is voted on by all class b directors in the state who are members of CSTAND. (She will officially receive the award at their annual conference in September.) This year, there were over 110 one act regional plays in the state and 18 of those qualified for the state contest where South Prairie placed 4th. Mrs. Rauschenberger, who is on her 4th year of directing the drama team, says she gives the credit to her cast and crew for this recognition!

South Prairie seniors are selling chocolate bars to raise money for their senior trip. All elementary students will have the opportunity to purchase candy bars for $1 at end of the school day tomorrow, Monday January 13th!

The FFA Conduct of Chapter Meetings team are 💥STATE CHAMPIONS💥and have earned a trip to the National FFA competition in October!! 🥳 The team includes: President Breanna Mindt, Vice President Rayna Magandy, Secretary Madison Sys, Treasurer Kinley Schilla, Reporter Ella Novak, Sentinel Ila Berg, and Student Advisor Brekken Neshem. Congratulations to the state winning team!! Natalee Becker earned GOLD in the Extemporaneous Public Speaking event!! Good work to all who competed yesterday!

Dairyland Donkey Ball is coming to South Prairie School on January 16, 2025! The Booster Club is looking for 4 teams of 8-12 riders to make up a team for each of the following: PLEASE keep in mind that riders must be 16 years of age and less than 225 lbs. 6-8th grade will start in their third hour class with normal class hours for the rest of the day. 9-12th grade will have 1st and 3rd hour finals from 10:20 until lunch. If you have two tests at this time, let your teachers know and they will work it out so you can get both tests done. The afternoon finals will have the same schedule: 5th hour 12:17-2:00 and 7th hour 2:03-3:20.

South Prairie School will start 2 hours late tomorrow, December 19th. Buses will also run 2 hours late.

The boys basketball team plays in the Our Redeemer's varsity basketball tournament this week. Their first game is tonight at 6:00 vs Ray.

The vendor show is going until 2:00 pm today! Don't forget to stop out, take your picture with Santa, check out all the amazing vendors, get your face painted, drink a warm drink from the hot chocolate bar, make some holiday crafts, and enjoy some pancakes and sausage!

Basketball Updates: -When we play Nedrose in boys basketball on January 14 and February 21 we WILL be playing a “C” game now. They had enough players come out to fill a “C” team. -The “C” girls basketball game with BRCS on December 19 is canceled. BRCS did not get enough girls out to fill a “C” team this year.
