Lunch tomorrow will be chicken patty on a bun instead of pulled pork!

School starts tomorrow! Yay! We just have a few reminders before the first day: -All students who are being picked up or dropped off before/after school need to go through Door 4 in the commons area. There will be staff there to guide students to and from their classrooms. (This is to separate the traffic from the area where the buses stop outside the elementary doors) -Especially with the new pick-up and drop-off situation, please let your bus driver and teachers know whether or not your child will be riding the bus.

Don't forget that tonight is back-to-school family night from 5:30-7:30 p.m.! Bring your school supplies, get your schedules, find your lockers, and get ready for the school year! There will also be hot dogs in the cafeteria and the Booster Club has their clothing cart set up so you can get some new Royals gear! 📚 ✏️

Here is some information on times and new drop-off/pick-up locations for this school year! 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐬: 7:45 - Doors open (Students must remain in the commons until 8:00) 8:00 - Students may go to their classrooms. 8:00 -Breakfast or Recess (Elementary) 8:20 - Classes Start 3:20 - School Dismissal 3:30 - Buses leave 𝐃𝐫𝐨𝐩-𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐬/𝐏𝐢𝐜𝐤-𝐔𝐩𝐬 - Door 4 All students PreK -12th grade will now have a drop-off and pick-up point at door 4, which is the entrance to the main commons. A teacher will be there to greet students, help them get to where they need to go, and bring the k-3 students down at the end of the day to meet their ride. The varsity girls golf team placed second today at their meet in Bottineau. Abby Mikkelson finished in 7th and Addison Herzig placed 10th! Great job, girls!

The girls golf team had their first varsity meet today in Velva and it was a great start to the season! The team took 2nd place! 🥈 Abby Mikkelson got 4th place with her personal best score of an 89! Addison Herzig also finished in the top 10 with her personal best score of a 97! Great job, Royals! ⛳️

🏐High School Volleyball Players🏐 Season is just around the corner! Make sure you note the dates below! Mandatory Parent/Player Meeting Thursday, August 10 @ 6pm in the Commons Tryouts, Monday-Wednesday August 14-16 6am-8am and 3:45-5:45 at South Prairie High School. You MUST have a physical done before you are able to try-out and we will not be taking late physicals this year due to the try-outs and missing days/practices. Football Cheerleading (grades 7-12) starts Monday August 7! Meet in the commons at 7:00am. Practice will be held 7am-11am Monday-Friday, August 7-11. Bring a water bottle, a snack, practice clothes (inside & outside), cheer/tennis shoes, physical & sports fee.

🏈 Jr High (7-8) football practice starts Monday, August 7th. Practice will run from 7-11 until August 14th, then it will start at 3:45-5:45. Make sure you have your physical completed and fees paid. You can turn your physical in on the 7th. You need a physical before you can practice. We will meet in Mr. MacIver’s room at 7:00 on Monday.

The start of the fall sports season is right around the corner! Here is the info you need for the first days of each sport! If you have any questions, reach out to your coach for more information: ⛳ Girls Golf (7-12th Grade): Practice starts August 1st from 8:30-10:30 a.m. at Souris Valley Golf Course. Contact Coach Palczewski at kayla.palczewski@k12.nd.us to get added to the list and receive practice information. There will not be a parent meeting, just a form to sign off on the first week. 📣 Cheerleading (7th-12th Grade): Practice starts August 7th at the school from 7:00-11:00 a.m. 🏈 Football (9th-12th Grade): Parent meeting and equipment handout for grades 9-12 on August 1st at 6:30 p.m. High school practice will be August 3rd-11th from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. (No practice Sunday the 6th).
