Here are some reminders for the rest of the week's schedule:
High School:
-Today is the last day of regular classes for grades 9-12. The final test schedule starts tomorrow and you can view the schedule here: https://5il.co/2lkdg
-All students must pick at least one core class to take a final in, even if they are exempt from others. (unless they are in a college class).
-When students are done with finals, or if it is an hour where they don't have a final, they do not need to be present at school.
-As soon as your final is done, your computers, chargers, locks, and library books must all be turned in to your advisors and the library.
-Graduation is at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 19th.
6-8th Grade:
-Normal schedule until Friday where it will be a shortened schedule so that everyone can go to every class in the morning.
-All materials must be turned in, lockers cleaned out, and library books returned by Friday morning.

Preschool programs are on Tuesday and Wednesday at 2:30. If your child attends the Tuesday/Thursday group, they would attend the Tuesday program, and if your child attends Monday/Wednesday group, then they would attend the Wednesday program.

KMOT and Minot State hosted the 34th Best of the Class this week!
President Shirley, MSU professor Kara Nunziato, and Shaun Sipma addressed the top 1% academically of all North Dakota high school graduates at a luncheon!

Chemistry and Environmental Science toured the Garrison Dam National Fish Hatchery. According to fed.gov “This Federal hatchery provides in excess of 10 million native fish annually for restoration stockings or balancing fish populations in hundreds of waters.” We also walked 5 miles of trails to help make sure they were clear of debris.

South Prairie competed at the Class B State Music Festival yesterday with its five entries that qualified from starring at regionals. Of the 5 entries, Elias Jimenez starred on his bass solo. Rayna Falcon scored a 1 (one below a star) on her alto solo. Carlyn Thomas starred on her soprano solo. Katelyn Leiss scored a 1 on her soprano solo. Katelyn and Brooke Leiss starred on their vocal duet. They all showed up ready to compete, and their scores reflect it. Congratulations everyone!

The 5th and 6th grade spring concert is Monday, May 6th in the high school gym at 6:30 pm! It will also be live streamed on YouTube.
