Mandatory Player/Parent Meeting - Sunday, August 18th at 5pm at South Prairie Commons. A full practice and game schedule will be handed out at this meeting as well as player/parent contracts.
Tryouts - Monday, August 19th 6-745am and 3:50-5:50pm at South Prairie High School Gym - Players MUST attend both try-out sessions if they are wanting to make the team.
First practice after try-outs - Tuesday, August 20th 3:50-5:50pm at South Prairie
Please also make sure to have your current physical turned into the high school office BEFORE try-outs! No player is allowed to practice or try-out if there is no physical on file and there will be no make-up try-outs.
FFA projects are back from the State Fair and ready for pickup! Projects will be in the AG hallway for members and parents to pick up until August 13th. South Prairie had numerous Grand and Reserve Champion projects at the fair. Great work!

Miranda competed at the State FFA Tractor Operator event to kick off the North Dakota State Fair!
Make sure to check out Ag projects exhibited in FFA hall while at the fair, some are even on the grand and reserve champion tables!!

South Prairie has a position open for a junior high football coach. Planning and running practices with co-coach, traveling to games, and other duties will be expected.

17 Royal Trap Shooters participated in this years USA Claytarget Nationals Championships.
With 1800 kids registered for this years individual competition, our Royals once again held their own on the national stage.
Brianna Helsene finish 3rd in the ladies division and 20th overall with a score of 99.
Ethan Abel finished 67th overall with a score of 98.

Miranda Novodvorsky and Andrew Neumiller competed in the FFA District II Tractor Driving event in Mohall. Miranda advanced to state in the advanced division, which will be held next week at the North Dakota State Fair. Andrew received a bronze in the basic division. Good work, tractor drivers!
