🥎The softball games tomorrow @ Nedrose have been postponed to April 23rd.

⚾️ The baseball games today vs. Surrey have been postponed. It will be played as a double-header on May 7th at Corbett Field starting at 4:00.
On Monday, April 22nd the South Prairie-Max Speech Team State Qualifiers will hold a “Showcase of Speakers” in the Commons at South Prairie School. It will begin at 7:00 pm and all of our Region 8 Champion speakers headed to State Speech the next weekend will be performing their pieces for the public. There is no cost for the event. Don’t miss this! Our kids are so entertaining!
The softball games at Nedrose on Friday have been postponed (still working on a date).
The softball game postponed vs. Harvey has been rescheduled for May 13th in Fessenden at 4:30.
The 2023-2024 Activity Banquet is Wednesday, May 8th at 6:00 p.m. Please fill out the attached form to the high school office by May 1st. You can also pick up a form in the high school office.

Softball and baseball today have been postponed. They are working on rescheduling these games but no date is set yet.
The JH/JV golf scheduled in Rugby on Thursday has been canceled.
2023-2024 SP Yearbooks are available to purchase! The cost is $53.75 (which cover taxes), with extra personalization options available. A paper form and cash/check need to be turned into Mrs. Ashley Unruh (room 118) by Wednesday, May 15th, 2024!

The South Prairie Band and Choir students competed at small group regionals this last weekend. Carlyn Thomas, Rayna Falcon, Elias Jimenez, and Katelyn Leiss all received stars on their solos while Katelyn and Brooke Leiss also received a star on their duet. They will all be competing at state in Bismarck on May 4th. Congratulations everyone!

Ms. Larson's Kindergarten class is kicking off our BRAND-NEW unit "All Kids Bike Learn-To-Ride Program!" Mrs. Zietz's kindergarten class will follow once Ms. Larson's class finishes. Bike riding is a practical and tangible activity that can be practiced consistently throughout life, not just on school grounds. Biking also offers many other positive and healthy benefits! Be sure to ask your child what "2-4-1 Time for Fun" means!
Calling all 2-6th grade athletes interested in playing volleyball! Register for the South Prairie Elementary Volleyball Camp using the QR code or clicking on the link below.
This event is a great opportunity to get your girls out on the court and learn some of the technique and skill to play such a fun sport! We are excited as always to host this camp that serves as an opportunity for our high schoolers to get some coaching experience while passing on the love of the game and fundraising for our program.

SOUTH PRAIRIE IS GETTING A THERAPY DOG!
During her masters program, Ms. Sasso has been working hard on creating a therapy dog program for South Prairie. After talking to the school board and administration, we are able to start next year! Ms. Sasso will be adopting this little golden retriever this summer and will be working hard on training him to be the best little therapy pup there is. Having a therapy pup at schools will provide emotional support, improve mood, enhance social skills, increase engagement, reduce behavioral issues, provide a positive school culture, and so much more! We are very excited to see this program in the works and to see the benefits for our students and staff.
