Congratulations to Rayna Falcon and Elias Jimenez for making the ND All State Choirs. Rayna was selected to sing in the All-State Treble Choir, and Elias was selected to sing in the All-State Honors Choir. Both will be singing in Bismarck this coming March.

South Prairie FFA members Brylee Better, Maddie Hogue, Joshua Lindbo, and Natalee Becker have spent the last three days at the International Production and Processing Expo in Atlanta, Georgia. They won the trip for their 4th place finish in the National FFA Food Science and Technology career development event at the National FFA Convention last November. Way to go representing North Dakota FFA internationally!


The “C” GBB game added to the schedule for Thursday, Feb. 1 versus ORCS has been canceled. ORCS actually needed a boys' game to fill their schedule.

Dear Parents/Guardians & Students,
We are excited to announce the upcoming 2024 North Dakota State NASP State 3-D and Bullseye Tournament, which will take place on March 15th and 16th at the North Dakota State Fairgrounds. This event is open to students in grades 4-12, and we would like to extend an invitation to all students interested in participating.
Details:
-Tournament Dates: March 15th and 16th
-Eligibility: Students in grades 4-12
-Location: North Dakota State Fairgrounds
-Participants can choose to shoot on either day (Plan for about an hour from start to finish)
-Practice schedule: To be determined based on gym availability. Most practices are held during study halls, early mornings, or occasionally after school when the gym is available (Grades 4 & 5 will get additional practice during Physical Education class)

A reminder that our Veteran and Military Personnel Recognition night will be tomorrow at the boys' basketball games! Everyone wear red, white, and blue to school and to the game to show support!
🇺🇸 Veterans and Active/Inactive Duty Military Personnel and Spouses will be recognized and honored before the South Prairie Varsity Boys Basketball game on Friday, January 26th. Their admission is free and will also be given a coupon for a free drink and a bag of popcorn from the concession stand. We would love if you could join us!
🇺🇸There will also be a flag ceremony performed by the basketball teams and cheerleaders before the varsity game! Athletes involved in this will practice at 2:00 p.m. in the high school gym!
