The Region 6 Girls Basketball Tournament begins on Monday at the Minot State Dome! We play the final game of the night against Nedrose at 7:30 p.m. It will also be on the PSP Network. Good luck, girls, in your first ever regional appearance!

Congratulations to the FFA AG Sales team on their 2nd place finish at the Kindred FFA Alumni competition yesterday. Individually, all team members received gold awards. Gracie Rauschenberger took 4th place, Jacob Kramer took 7th, Joshua Lindbo 11th, and Brylee Beeter 12th. Annaliese Rauschenberger and Adam Newman both also received gold awards in the Agronomy contest. Good work SPFFA!

South Prairie Elementary is PUMPED UP for HEART HEALTH! The students have been working hard in P.E and learning how to live a heart healthy lifestyle. Here are some ways to stay active in your home. Just a reminder that all packets are due back by February 17th. Thanks to all who have jumped in to help a wonderful cause.

Royals fans, the boys basketball team is on the home court tonight taking on Center. Game times are 5:00 & 6:30! 🏀 Before the varsity game, the cheerleaders and boys and girls basketball teams will do a special flag ceremony. Come show your support and witness a ceremony that’ll give you yet another reason you’re proud to be a Royal! 🇺🇸 Go Royals!!

Great job to the Royals girls basketball team on their 2nd place finish in the district tournament tonight! They will be the number 2 seed from District 12 going into the regional tournament! The first round of regionals starts Monday, February 20th and they'll take on Nedrose at the Minot State Dome! Also, Skotti Beck and Azjiah Trader were both named to the All-District team! Great job this season, girls!

RESULTS: Karl Behm and Emma Marten: 1st in Serious Duo-STATE QUALIFIED Maddie Hogue: 7th in Speech to Entertain, 2nd in Poetry. Brea Pitner: 4th in Impromptu, 2nd in Speech to Entertain. Mason Smith and Calen Rohrbach: 6th in Humorous Duo. Calen Rohrbach: 4rd in Impromptu. Emma Marten: 2nd Extemp Programmed Reading Lilly Hoffman and Skylar Beck: 4th in Serious Duo. Elias Jimenez: 6th in Extemp Speaking. Skylar Beck: 6th in Storytelling.

Congratulations to senior, Lane Cooper! He was the Region 3 wrestling champion in the 126 pound weight class today at regionals in Kenmare! Good luck at state next weekend in Fargo!

The girls basketball team plays in the district championship tonight around 7:00 p.m. against Our Redeemer's at the Minot Auditorium! After the game, everyone is welcome to meet at Planet Pizza for a $10 buffet they will have set up for all Royals fans and players. Stop by after the game to congratulate the girls on their first appearance in the district championship and their first time qualifying for the regional tournament! Go Royals!

Congratulations to the South Prairie FFA Ag Sales team on their 1st place team finish at the Little International contest in Fargo! In individual competition, Gracie Rauschenberger placed 4th, Jacob Kramer placed 6th, Joshua Lindbo placed 10th, and Brylee Beeter was 17th out of 157 contestants! Annaliese Rauschenberger placed 8th out of 150 contestants. Adam Newman also placed silver. Keep up the great work South Prairie FFA!

With their win last night, the girls basketball team moves on to the semi-finals of the district tournament tonight! They will take on Surrey at approximately 6:00 p.m. at the Minot Auditorium. Remember, every game will be broadcasted on the PSP Network.

South Prairie FFA and South Prairie FFA Alumni will be hosting a meal and an informational meeting for anyone interested in learning more about FFA or helping with FFA events. The event will be held in conjunction with the regular FFA meeting on Thursday, February 16th. A soup and sandwich meal will be served at 6:30 with a meeting to follow afterward. We hope to see you there!

🏀 The high school girls basketball games tonight will be played in Max against Garrison! There will be two games, JV at 5:45 and Varsity at 7:15. The dress up theme for tonight's game is "Storm the Troopers," so dress up in your best Star Wars gear!
