-On the last day of school, May 18th, we will dismiss at 12:20 and buses will run at 12:30 with all students getting lunch before they leave.
-On May 17th, Kindergarten graduation will be at 10:00 in the high school gym and elementary field day will run from 1:00-2:30. PTO could still use parent help for field day.
-9-12th grade will have finals next week. Please follow the following schedule. Students will be updated on whether or not they are exempt tomorrow in their classes. Even if they are exempt from all finals, they must pick one to take. Once the finals schedule begins on Tuesday, high school students only need to be here when they have a final to take.

Trinity Sports Medicine is very pleased to be offering our FASTER athletics Injury Prevention and Performance Enhancement program at South Prairie High School this summer. The focus of this program is on agility, core strength, jumping with emphasis on correct landing, single leg balance, single leg strength, flexibility and much more! The FASTER program will be designed and directed by members of Trinity Health's Sports Medicine Team.
FASTER will be offered on Tuesday and Thursday mornings for six weeks beginning June 6 and ending July 20. We will not schedule FASTER sessions the week of July 4th to allow families to enjoy the holiday.

South Prairie students can now access their individual registration screens via PowerSchool! Once logged into their account, students can access the registration screen on the left column. Once they have accessed the registration screen, they simply need to follow the directions.

Seniors!! Sources of Strength is having a casual lunch for all of you on Tuesday, May 16th at 12:45pm in the HS Gym. We will be catering Olive Garden for all of you and hand out awards for the "Most Likely To..." questions that we need all of you to take a minute to fill out. Congratulations to the South Prairie 5th and 6th grade girls basketball teams. The 5th grade team won the consolation championship and the 6th grade team won the championship in the South Prairie 6th grade GBB Tournament!

The South Prairie-Max Speech Team ended their season in a high note today at the State B Speech Meet in Mandan. Two of our entries broke finals, placing 2nd and 3rd. Gracie Rauschenberger and Josh Lindbo placed 2nd and Natalee Becker and Maddie Hogue placed 3rd in Humorous Duo. Emma Marten was awarded a superior medal for EPR, which means she was eliminated from finals on a tie breaker.
Five of our speakers were honored with All State awards: Emma Marten, Josh Lindbo, Maddie Hogue, Gracie Rauschenberger, and Karl Behm. They earned this honor by earning 4 “legs” in both speech and in drama 🎭 accomplishments.
Over 85 Class B schools participated in today’s NDHSAA State Tournament.

Good luck to the South Prairie-Max Speech team at STATE tomorrow at Mandan High School!
Josh Lindbo, Gracie Rauschenberger, Natalee Becker, Maddie Hogue, Kadyn Tallman, Karl Behm, Emma Marten, Lilly Hoffman, Brea Pitner, Skylar Beck, Calen Rohrbach, and Dalaney Ruhland are the state qualifiers who will be participating! These students qualified throughout the season by placing first, or by being in the top two or three at regionals!

Students going into grades 5-11: Are you proud to be a Royal? Know how things are done at South Prairie School? Good at talking with people? If so, you can apply to be a 𝑹𝒐𝒚𝒂𝒍 𝑹𝒆𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆 for next school year!! Royal Reps will meet and help show new students around South Prairie School as well as participate in some fun group activities during the year. To apply to be a member of Royal Reps, you need to be in Middle or High school next year— that means current 5th through 11th graders may apply. Pick up your application in Ms. Palczewski’s room (221) or in the HS office. Completed applications are due to Ms. Palczewski or to the high school office by 3:00pm May 5th.
