The JH boys basketball team will practice today at 3:30 p.m.
The JH boys basketball games vs Kenmare have been postponed because Kenmare canceled school today. These games will be rescheduled.
The JH Boys Basketball Jamboree tomorrow is canceled, but they still will have practice today after school.
The girls c squad basketball game in Bottineau today is canceled and there will not be practice.
The boys basketball games (jv & varsity) versus Parshall on January 22nd will be played in PLAZA. Game times are 5:45 & 7:15.
Clarification for tonight's basketball games:
The boys play at home vs. Nedrose at 5:45 and 7:15. Our C squad will play the 5:45 game.

π Events for the week of January 8-13!

Congratulations to Bryleigh McBride for being selected to participate in the JH All State Band! Students from all over the state auditioned for spots at the beginning of December to play in Mandan this Spring, and she will be representing South Prairie with her bassoon.

Before break, make sure you check out the lost and found for your belongings! There's a lost and found outside the elementary and high school office!

The Christmas vendor show is going on right now until 3:00 p.m.! If you haven't already stopped, head out to get some Christmas shopping done and see all the awesome vendors!
Five South Prairie FFA members applied for and received FFA jackets provided by the North Dakota FFA Foundation Blue Jackets, Bright Futures Program. This program is made possible by generous sponsors of the FFA organization. Members receiving jackets include Bryleigh McBride, Rayna Magandy, Taylor Post, Alysa Rice, and Harley Burns.

Some notes about next week and the upcoming holiday break:
π Next week we will have a holiday dress-up week for the last three days before break! This is for all students and staff K-12!
Monday: Holiday shirts/sweaters
Tuesday: Candy cane day (wear stripes or red/white)
Wednesday: Pajamas
π High school students take finals on Tuesday and Wednesday next week. Every student must choose at least one final to take, even if they are exempt. When students are not taking finals, they don't have to be here! Click here to see the final exam schedule: https://5il.co/2axjg
π Middle school students have a normal schedule until Wednesday afternoon when they have their Christmas party in the classrooms. They got to choose what activities they want to do, and snacks will be provided!
π There will be no school from Thursday, December 21st to January 2nd! Classes will resume on the 3rd!

Yesterday, the South Prairie concert choir sang carols for the residents of both The View and Edgewood. What a warm reception we received by both communities allowing us to share in the Christmas spirit with them. The choir is already looking forward to visiting again in the future.

Natalee Becker and Miranda Novodvorsky competed at the State FFA Leadership Development Events. Natalee earned a gold placing in the Extemporaneous Public Speaking event and Miranda placed bronze in the Employment Skills contest. Good work Natalee and Miranda!
