Semester 1 Honor Roll for grades 6-12! Great work, Royals!
South Prairie School will be holding a silent auction event at the Girls Basketball Games vs DLB on Febraury 2nd to raise money for South Prairie student, Isaac Louis, who is going through treatments to fight medulloblastoma. We would appreciate any silent auction donations, whether it’s from a group/organization or community members. Examples of silent auction donations: singular items, selecting a theme and bringing items that go with that theme to make a basket, or bringing a monetary donation to buy an item for the silent auction. Please have your items to the high school office by Thursday, February 1st.
A reminder that our Veteran and Military Personnel Recognition night will be tomorrow at the boys' basketball games! Everyone wear red, white, and blue to school and to the game to show support!
🇺🇸 Veterans and Active/Inactive Duty Military Personnel and Spouses will be recognized and honored before the South Prairie Varsity Boys Basketball game on Friday, January 26th. Their admission is free and will also be given a coupon for a free drink and a bag of popcorn from the concession stand. We would love if you could join us!
🇺🇸There will also be a flag ceremony performed by the basketball teams and cheerleaders before the varsity game! Athletes involved in this will practice at 2:00 p.m. in the high school gym!
Senior and senior parents, please remember to sign up for the Senior & Parent FAFSA night on January 31st at 5:30 in the commons. The GBB c-squad game tomorrow in Dunseith has been canceled. The c-squad girls will still go and take part in the JV game which starts at 5:45 p.m.

There will be a South Prairie FFA Parents and Supporters Social this Sunday, January 28th, starting at 3pm in the back room of Applebees in Minot. Anyone interested in learning more about FFA and how to support the program is welcome to attend. Appetizers will be served with an informational meeting at 4pm. Hunter Education Class
Please mark your calendars for this year’s Hunter Education Class at South Prairie School. The class is open to anyone born in 2013 or earlier. The class will be held on the following days.
• Friday, February 23 from 3:30-6:30
• Monday, February 26 from 3:30-7:30
• Tuesday, February 27 3:30-7:30
There is a sign-up sheet outside of Nancy’s Office for students to register.

Trap Team Organizational Meeting
There will be an organizational meeting for the Trap Team on Monday, January 22 in the Elem Gym starting at 6:30pm. ALL NEW SHOOTERS are required to attend with a parent. We will cover all registration and team requirements for the 2024 spring season. If you are unable to attend, please contact Mr. Stanley at the school.

Reminder about the girls games tonight: Max will host some GBB action! At 4:00, our C Squad will take on Minot North, and starting at 5:45, our JV will play New Town, followed by the Varsity game. Come out and cheer on these girls - they are fun to watch!
