South Prairie School District - Home of the Royals

South Prairie is partnering with CRACTC to offer high school online course options for the Fall 2026 semester. Students who are interested in exploring these opportunities may review the course catalog and, if they would like to enroll in an online class, complete the request form and return it to Ms. Sasso by April 24th.

CRACTC Eligibility Requirements:

Open to students in 10th–12th grade
Minimum 3.5 GPA
A or B in English during the most recent semester

The Yearbook Club is collecting student responses for a new section in the yearbook called “Royal Reflections.” This feature gives every student the opportunity to be included in the yearbook other than their photo.

Students in grades 3–5 can respond to two prompts: “Year in One Word” and “Top Song of the Year.” Students in grades 6–12 can respond to five prompts: “Year in One Word,” “Top 5 Songs of the Year,” “Song That Describes the Year,” “Go-To Hype Song,” and “SPHS Hot Takes.”

All responses will be collected and may be featured in the yearbook. The top 20 “Hot Takes,” selected by a vote from the Yearbook Club, will be included as a special highlight.

Responses can be filled out online or on a paper form outside of Mrs. McRae’s door.

🍦Don't forget! 6-12th grade students can buy ice cream at lunch tomorrow, Tuesday March 31st! Elementary students can buy it on Wednesday, April 1st at 2:30 p.m. in the elementary cafeteria!

Ice cream is $4 a cup, and when you purchase ice cream you also get a forget-me-not flower for your classroom door or for the student you want to vote for to shave their head!

The assembly will be on Thursday at 2:55 where we will announce the winning class who gets to spray Mrs. Neshem with silly string and the winning student who has to shave their head!

The South Prairie-Max Speech Team had a GREAT day up north in Bowbells yesterday! We have three new State Qualifiers: Teyah Dougay and Landen Jansen got 1st in Serious Duo, Jocelyn Keighley placed 1st in Speech to Entertain, and Anslee Schillinger won 1st in Humorous Interpretation. They will join the other 13 previously state qualified teammates at the ND State B Speech Meet at Mandan High School on Saturday, April 25th!
