Trap Team Wins State Titles
The South Prairie Royals Trap Team shot a score of 487 to win the ND Claytarget League Championship by 10 birds.
Leading the way for the Royals and winning the Individual High Gun and High Female shooter was Logan Hanneman with a score of 99. Winning High Male shooter was Mathew Abel with a 98.
Other Royals shooting 90 or better today were:
Ethan Abel 98, Brynn Powell 96, Isaac Sherven 96, Ty Murphy 95, Tate Heer 93, Ella Novak 93, Jameson Behm 93, Jarret Eklie 92, Emma Asmundson 92, Kolter Sauby 91, zach Korgel 91, Breanna Mindt 91, Luke Anderson 90, Kash Beckedahl 90 and Tobin Jaeger 90.
The Royals Novice squad won the State Titles with a score of 357. These shooters were lead by #3 Novice Male shooter Coltan Zietz with a 78, along with #2 Female Novice shooter Avery Leier and her score of 73.
Rounding out the Novice scores were: Mason Boehler 74, Reagan Albert 66 and Taryn Albert 66.

Royals Trap Team Wins "Best in the West"
Led by High Overall Shooter Ethan Abels score of 99, the Royals Trap Team shot a score of 481 to win the Scheel's Best in the West shoot held at the Minot Gun Club by 22.
Winning the Female division was Logan Hanneman with a score of 95.
Placing 5th in the Novice division was Colton Zietz with a 74.
The Royals next competition will be on June 13, 14 in Bismarck for the State 5 Stand and Skeet competition. Followed by the State Trap Shoot on June 21 in Horace.

Royals Trap Team Retains the Championship Belt
The Royals Trap team shot a score 760 out of 800 to repeat as the team champions at the Shooting Park in Horace’s Top Ten Meet. The top 8 scores are used to determine the Team Champions. Placing 2nd with a 745 was Berthold followed by West Fargo Cheyenne with a 727.
Leading the way and winning the Championship Ring for the girls was Logan Hanneman with a 99. Mathew Abel placed 2nd in the boys division with a 99 as well.

The Cossacks Softball team finished as the 7th seed out of 12 teams! The girls battled their way to the Regional Tournament and competed hard, ultimately falling short against two tough teams.

During the event, students were recognized for their achievements in academics, character, growth, attendance, and for exemplifying our core values of being Respectful, Responsible, and Safe.
We are incredibly proud of our students and the positive impact they have on our school community each day. Throughout the year, they demonstrated perseverance, kindness, integrity, school spirit, and a willingness to support one another both inside and outside the classroom.
As another school year comes to a close, we want our students and families to know how much we have appreciated the opportunity to work with such an outstanding group of young people. It has been a joy watching them grow academically, socially, and personally throughout the year. It is always bitter sweet to see them go for the summer but we always look forward to seeing them grow over the summer before they return next fall.

Elementary had their field day yesterday! 🏃♂️ 260 kids went through 6 different stations this afternoon - from rock paper scissors ✂️ to ice cream relay 🍦 the fun didn’t stop. Of course they ended with popsicles and the tug-of-war contest!! 🍭🏋️♂️
Thanks to Mrs. Myers for putting it on and all the paras and parents that helped. The kiddos had a great time! 💙🤍
