💗𝑻𝒐𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒓𝒐𝒘 𝒊𝒔 𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒌-𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒅𝒂𝒚! Wear pink to school and to the volleyball games to raise awareness for breast cancer. There will be donation jars at the ticket booth and concessions, student council will be selling italian sodas, and the booster club will be hosting the chili cook-off -- all proceeds will go to Trinity Cancer Care Center!

🌶️If you signed up for the chili cook-off, please bring the chili no later than 4:45 to the commons area. Tasting will begin at 5:00. Bowls and spoons for tasting will be provided by the school. Tasting will close at 7:00.

Great weekend for the Royals! 🏈The varsity football team beat Tioga last night! 🏈The 5/6th grade football team won the championship today! 🏐The varsity volleyball team won the Carrington tournament today!

📆CHANGE OF DATE:

The high school volleyball games scheduled for Tuesday have been moved to MONDAY, OCTOBER 13th. The pink-out night and chili cook-off will also be on Monday!

🌶️If you want to enter a batch of chili in the contest, please call Mrs. Cooper in the high school office to get on the list! They are still looking for more entries!

📚The Scholastic Book Fair is happening now! Stop in and shop during school hours from now until October 16th. The Book Fair will be open until 7:30 on October 16th, the night of conferences.

💗Tuesday, October 14th is pink-out night at the volleyball game. Students are encouraged to wear pink to school during the day and to the game to raise awareness for breast cancer.

🌶️ The booster club's chili cook-off will also be during the volleyball game! If you are interested in entering a batch of chili into the contest, please contact Mrs. Cooper in the high school office.

The South Prairie-Max grade 5-6 football team is undefeated and will play in the “Future Bowl” which is the overall championship game on Saturday, October 11 at noon at the Minot North football field. Any student, in any grade, that shows up to that game will receive a coupon for free ice cream on October 14th during their lunch! Of course all Royals fans are encouraged to come out and support our future Royals football players! Let’s show everyone what being a Royal is all about!

South Prairie Bio Girls is hosting a Diaper Drive NOW until October 17th to donate to Dakota Hope Clinic and Delight Co. Diaper Pantry! There are totes outside of the office to leave your donations.

🥤The class that donates the most diapers wins a root beer float party!

The girls golf team had a strong final round today at state! They improved on their team score today by 10 strokes, Kylee shot her personal best, and Addison broke 90 with an 87. We are looking forward to see what they can do next year! Also, congratulations on a great season and career to our seniors-- Kylee, Jaeda, and Abby! You'll be missed!

⛳️Good luck to the varsity girls golf team today! It's Day 1 of the state tournament at Pheasant Country Golf Course in South Heart! The course is in great shape, the weather is beautiful, and they're ready to have a great first appearance as a team at state!

Homecoming dance info: 🚪Doors open at 8:00 pm 💃🏻Dance starts at 8:30 pm and goes until 11:30pm 📞Once you come in, you can't leave. Parents will be contacted if students leave before the dance is over. 🍿Snacks will be for sale at concessions (nachos, popcorn, candy, drinks) The dance will be in the high school gym. Once the dance starts, students will only be able to enter and exit the dance floor from the SW door that goes into the commons. They're not allowed in the locker rooms.

🎮 Esports Season is almost here! There will be an informational meeting for all students in grades 7-12 who are interested in joining esports during SRB on Thursday, October 2nd.

We will have a mandatory parent meeting before the season starts on Thursday, October 23rd at 5:30 p.m.

First day of preseason practices/games is November 10th! The regular season runs until February 6th and state esports is February 26-28.

More details and expectations will be discussed at the meetings. Until then, students can choose from the following list of games to play:

The JV golf team finished their season on a high note last week! They got 2nd place in Bottineau as a team, Emma Erickson got 6th place and Wynn Fielhaber was the medalist! They all improved and learned a lot this season and have a bright future ahead!
