Natalee Becker and Miranda Novodvorsky competed at the State FFA Leadership Development Events. Natalee earned a gold placing in the Extemporaneous Public Speaking event and Miranda placed bronze in the Employment Skills contest. Good work Natalee and Miranda!

Thank you to all who participated in the FFA Food Drive over the last two weeks! In the elementary, the 5th grade had the most donated items. The 2nd grade class was in a very close second with kindergarten in third. In the high school, the 8th grade dominated the competition in donated items, followed by the 7th grade and juniors. These items have been donated to local food pantries.

𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒 to Mrs. Hiltner on being named the 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫!
They recognized her on stage at the state convention tonight along with the South Prairie student council members who attended. South Prairie student council president, Skylar Beck, spoke about the great impact on Mrs. Hiltner had on the school's chapter over the years! Last year was her final year as advisor, and we are so lucky we had someone build such a great foundation for student council at our school!



📆 It's a busy week this week with both girls and boys basketball in full-swing!

The JH GBB games vs Garrison today have been cancelled due to a gym scheduling issue. There will be practice after school.

Congratulations to the FFA students on their performance at District Leadership competition yesterday. Natalee Becker placed first in Extemporaneous Public Speaking. Miranda Novodvorsky took second in Employment Skills. Both individuals advanced to state competition next week in Bismarck. Gracie Rauschenberger and Brylee Beeter were both “officers of the day,” beating out all other FFA officers in their positions. Breanna Mindt took second in the Greenhand Quiz competition. A full list of results will be in the next FFA newsletter.

Here is the schedule for the Girl's JV and Varsity games at the Minot Auditorium and Armory for today and Saturday. Come out a support the Royals as they take on the #1 and #2 teams in Class A.

3rd and 4th grade Christmas Music Concert “Secret Santa” is tomorrow November 28th! Matinee at 2:30 in the High School gym, with an evening performance at 6:30. The evening performance will also be live-streamed on the school's Youtube page.

🥫 The South Prairie FFA Chapter is having a food drive! 🥫
From November 27th to December 8th, students can bring non-perishable food items, hygiene products, detergents, and toys to donate to food pantries in both Max and Ryder.
6-12th donations will be collected in the commons area and elementary will be next to Nancy's office.

Congratulations to the drama team on their 𝟒𝐭𝐡 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 finish at state! Your time, effort, and dedication definitely paid off. We're proud of you!
The JH Girls Basketball game today will be played in Newburg starting at 4:15 p.m.
