1. No practice today due to middle school ski trip.
2. They will practice tomorrow from 1:00-2:30
3. They will practice next week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 12:00-1:30 for all that can attend.

Spring sports season is here! The schedules for track & field, baseball, softball, and 5th/6th grade volleyball and boys basketball are all updated on the Athletics section of our website/app and on the South Prairie Google Events Calendar! The boys golf schedule will be up as soon as we have it! As we know, spring schedules can change a lot, so we will keep these schedules updated as soon as we get word on any changes!

🏀Congratulations on an awesome season and 3rd place finish at the state tournament, girls! They beat Devils Lake 64-56.
Update: the hospitality room will be open at 6:00. They will have food ready and the championship game on there for people to watch until the girls arrive after the awards.

Royals Speech Team Glorious in Glenburn!
Most of our speakers left for the dome to support our Lady Royals but these three (Emma Marten, Natalee Becker, and Josh Lindbo) stayed with Coach Rauschenberger for the awards at the Glenburn Speech Meet today.
Several South Prairie/Max speakers placed 1st and State Qualified: Brylee Beeter and Emma Marten in Humorous Duo, Marten in Impromptu, and Beeter in Inform. Natalee Becker in Humorous Interp, Josh Lindbo in Storytelling. Other 1st places today in events short of participants to be State Qualifying are Alan Joslin and Karl Behm in Serious Duo and Maddie Hogue in Entertain.
Other award winners include Skylar Beck-2nd in Impromptu and 5th in Dramatic Interp; Natalee Becker-2nd in Poetry; Alan Joslin-2nd in Persuade; Anslee Schillinger-3rd in Radio and 7th in Storytelling; Josh Lindbo-3rd in Humorous Interp; Emma Reierson and Mia Hogue-3rd in Serious Duo and Mia Hogue-5th in Poetry; Karl Behm-5th in Impromptu.
The team wraps up their invitational schedule next Saturday in Velva and then March 29th at Burke Central.


The girls played hard and came up one point short yesterday, but we are so proud of their effort and determination!
Today they take the court one last time this season, playing for 3rd place at 3:00. Let’s show up and cheer them on as they finish strong! Theme: blue out 💙

The hospitality room will open at 4:30 p.m. today. There will be free shuttles for fans to go from the fair grounds to the games. The first one will leave at 5:45 and the second one will leave at 6:00. The buses will drop off at the Dome south entrance and then will take people back to the fair grounds right after the game.
There will be Planet Pizza for everyone at the hospitality room tonight!
Remember, if you haven't paid for your shirt yet, please pay and pick it up in the office today!

🚌Pep bus will leave from the school at 12:00 tomorrow to drive kids to the game! If you want to ride the pep bus, have a parent call the high school office to get on the list! The pep bus will only be dropping kids off at the game. They will have to be picked up at the MSU Dome after the game.

Reminder: tomorrow, Thursday, March 6th, we will have an early out to support the girls basketball team in the state tournament! School will dismiss at 11:50 and buses will run at 12:00!
Elementary students will all have lunch before dismissal and students in grades 6-12 will all eat lunch at 11:30. If students in 6-12 want to leave at 11:30 and not eat at school, they will be allowed to leave at that time.
