
The South Prairie-Max Royals Speech Team had another successful Saturday, this time at Nedrose!
Today’s results:

Maddie Hogue-1st Inform* State Qualifying; Brylee Beeter and Natalee Becker-1st Serious Duo* State Qualifying.
The State B Speech Meet will be held at Mandan High on April 26th.

The Ward County Spelling Bee took place on Wednesday, February 19, at MSU. The South Prairie participants included the following students:

Cooper was awarded first place of county 6th graders, and Justin was awarded runner-up of county 8th graders. Cooper and Marshall advanced to the oral spelldown, where Marshall took third in the county - one place short of advancing to the state bee.

South Prairie School will have a two hour late start tomorrow, February 18th. There will be no breakfast.
The 5th grade field trip scheduled for tomorrow morning is canceled.

February 15-22 is National FFA week! To celebrate, South Prairie FFA is conducting several activities including a food drive and dress up days. Tomorrow will be America Day! Dress up in your best red, white, and blue! Wednesday is Blue and Gold or FFA apparel day! Thursday is Camo day and Friday is Hawaiian day! The food drive will continue until Friday the 21st. You will have until 10 am that day to get your donations in to count toward your class totals! We hope you join us in celebrating!

Tomorrow is veteran and military appreciation night at the high school boys basketball games! All active military personnel and veterans get free admission to the game, free popcorn, and a free drink!
The student athletes will be performing a flag ceremony before the varsity game, the MAFB Honor Guard will be presenting the colors for the national anthem, and the dress-up theme for the game is red, white, and blue! 🇺🇸 Come to the game and show your support!
