Tomorrow is veteran and military appreciation night at the high school boys basketball games! All active military personnel and veterans get free admission to the game, free popcorn, and a free drink!
The student athletes will be performing a flag ceremony before the varsity game, the MAFB Honor Guard will be presenting the colors for the national anthem, and the dress-up theme for the game is red, white, and blue! 🇺🇸 Come to the game and show your support!

South Prairie FFA chapter will be conducting a food drive February 12th-21st to kick-off national FFA week! All grades are welcome to participate. There will be a competition between grades K-5th and 6th-12th for the most items donated. Please see the attached flyer for additional information.

Speech Team Rocks Today!
Congratulations to the South Prairie-Max Speech Team! They had a GREAT day at the Kenmare Invitational Speech Meet!
Placing 1st and State Qualifying are Natalee Becker and Maddie Hogue in Humorous Duo, Josh Lindbo in Humorous Interpretation, and Gracie Rauschenberger in Serious Interpretation. They will compete at the ND State Class B Speech Meet in Mandan on April 26th.
Other winners today include Maddie Hogue 1st in Speech to Inform,
Brylee Beeter 2nd in Speech to Inform, Brooke Leiss 2nd in Dramatic, Alan Joslin 2nd in Radio Broadcasting, Mia Hogue and Emma Reierson 2nd in Serious Duo, Skylar Beck 3rd in Impromptu, Brylee Beeter 3rd in Storytelling, Emma Marten 3rd in EPR, Alan Joslin and Gracie Rauschenberger 4th Humorous Duo, Skylar Beck 4th in Dramatic, Natalee Becker 4th in Humorous Interpretation, Mia Hogue 5th in Poetry Interpretation, Brooke Leiss 6th in Poetry, Anslee Schillinger 7th in Storytelling.

Mark your calendars: March 14 will be an early dismissal for Parent Teacher Conferences. School will be dismissed at 1:00 and buses will pull out at 1:10. Parent Teacher Conferences will be scheduled to start at 1:30 and run until 7:30 that day. Elementary online sign-up information for conferences will be sent out closer to the date, Middle school and High school conferences will be open for parents to rotate through teachers in the main gym.
Congratulations to Brooke Leiss for being selected to perform in the ND All-State Honors Choir. The choir will be performing in Bismarck on March, 25th.
Preschool and Kindergarten Registration is February 27th from 4:00-6:30. Come out to the school, meet the teachers and fill out the registration paperwork. Please bring a copy of your student's birth certificate.
