Sources of Strength would like to invite all of you to donate blood at our our annual blood drive at South Prairie School on Tuesday, April 12 from 10-4pm. If you would like to sign up for a time to donate, visit vitalant.org. Make sure to then click on the "make a donation" button to find the South Prairie Blood Drive. Sources of Strength is also hosting two Bake Sale/Rootbeer Float Days in order to raise money for Mr. and Mrs. Kramer for medical expenses. The Kramers are a big part of our South Prairie School and we need your help! If you would be willing to donate individually wrapped baked goods to either of the bake sale days, please email Mrs. Gerding at sheila.gerding@k12.nd.us or Mrs. Unruh at ashley.unruh@k12.nd.us. On Wednesday, April 20 the elementary students will have a chance to purchase goodies from the bake sale (individual items with prices that will vary). The same day all 6th-12th Grade students can purchase rootbeer floats during lunch for $3 each. On the following Wednesday, April 27, the elementary students can purchase rootbeer floats during lunch for $3 each and the 6th -12th grade students can purchase goodies at the bake sale during lunch on that day. South Prairie School will be hosting a Mandatory "Dual Credit" night and College planning night on Monday, April 18 in the South Prairie Commons area for any current 9th-11th grade student who is planning on taking a college class next Fall. The admissions counselor and financial aid director from Dakota College of Bottineau along with Mrs. Gerding the 6-12th Grade School Counselor at South Prairie will be in charge of this event. Students who are taking a college class for the first time will need their social security number and a credit card in order to complete the process. All students and their parents will learn about dual credit classes, how to navigate on campus connection to complete the process, view grades, make payments, and request transcripts. Mrs. Gerding will also explain the ND State Scholarship requirements as well as where to find scholarship information. And finally, parents will be given information on the FAFSA and student loans. Please plan to attend with your child if they plan to take a college class for dual credit next year. Snacks and beverages will be provided. Please click this link to register for the event:

The 2021-2022 Athletic Banquet will be held on Thursday, May 5th at 6:00 p.m.! The banquet is for grades 9-12 and any students who participated in varsity sports this school year.

Students in grades 5-11: Are you proud to be a Royal? Know how things are done at South Prairie School? Good at talking with people? If so, you can apply to be a Royal Rep!! Royal Reps will meet and help new students at South Prairie School as well as participate in some fun group activities during the year. To apply to be a member of Royal Reps you need to be in Middle or High school next year, that means current 5th graders through 11th graders may apply. Pick up your application in Ms. Palczewski’s or Mrs. Dobrinski’s room (218/219) or in the HS office. Completed applications are due to Ms. Palczewski or Mrs. Dobrinski by 3:30pm April 8th.

Junior High dance for 6-8th grade students is tomorrow in the SP elementary gym from 6:30-8:30pm.
The dance is country-themed but dress can be country, crazy, neon, or just comfy clothes as long as they are appropriate. There will be concessions and a photo booth.
Cost is $2 for pre sale tickets at lunchtime or $4 at the door. Also, we are still in need of two chaperones for the dance. If you are able to help, please call Mrs. Cooper ASAP.
