Here is some information for parents as we plan the calendar for next year:
As a school district we are contracted with the teachers for 175 days of instruction. When looking at a school calendar we attempt to start the 1st week of sporting activities competition. Next year, football will start practice on August 3rd with the 1st game on the 19th. Volleyball will start practice on the 15th and girls golf will start on August 1st.
We attempt to not do early releases for staff training as we know and understand that it creates child care issues. When a staff training is scheduled, we try to do it before the year starts or in line with a holiday (Presidents Day is a staff inservice day).
This year was the 1st year where we have scheduled a full week of spring break. As we plan for next year, please take some time to complete this survey and give us feedback on your preference for the length of spring break.

*Please only complete one survey per family.
