Shortages have even affected book fairs now. Because of lack of product availability, the Scholastic Buy One Get One Free Book Fair will not be held during parent/teacher conferences. The new dates are April 18-29. More information will be posted closer to the start of the fair. Thank you.

Student Council is raising awareness about Alzheimer’s by selling
Forget-Me-Not Flowers from February 28 – March 11.
This is the statewide service project for the North Dakota Association of Student Councils. We are proud to show our ROYAL support for this cause.


The theme for todays District Boys Tournament is “Take the Panthers by STORM! Gray out!” All fans are asked to represent South Prairie in a positive manner and that you will be asked to leave for unacceptable dress or cheers.

The middle school ski trip scheduled for Wednesday has been postponed to MARCH 3rd because of the weather.

Congratulations to Lane Cooper (11th grade) on his 4th place finish at state wrestling! He also was named to the Academic All-State team (students who earn a 3.4 or higher GPA).
Your hard work and dedication to wrestling and to school has definitely paid off! Congratulations on a great season, Lane!


Congratulations to Mr. Stanley on being named the 2021 North Dakota Hunter Education instructor of the year! His 20 years of service as an instructor have definitely had a strong impact on many people and families!


Don't forget, this week is FFA week! All students (PreK-12) can join us in celebrating the importance of agriculture by participating in dress-up week and donating food for the food drive! 🌾

*Donations will be accepted through Friday, the 25th. Items collected will be donated to the Have a Heart Food Drive in support of the Minot Area Homeless Coalition.

We are looking for book donations for the book swap at the Reading Around the World literacy night! If you have books you want to donate ahead of time, you can send them to school or drop them off in the library!
