South Prairie Parents,
I am honored to share with you the positive things that are going on here at South Prairie School. Too often we hear only the negative things that have been happening in education. Last month we were notified from ND Superintendent of Public Instruction, Kirsten Baesler, that South Prairie School is one of the top 15% performing districts in the state.
With parent/teacher conferences just being completed, we want to thank all of you for taking time to stop in and visit with your children’s teachers. The support of parents is one of the most important tools we have as a school to assist in educating children. When parents are actively involved in their child’s education, students see improvement not only in the classroom, but also in all aspects of their lives.
Across the nation, we hear of the negative effects COVID-19 has had on students, it is because of hard work of students, staff and ultimately parents that have kept our students reaching their full potential as learners.
Thank you again for your support of South Prairie School and most importantly for taking an active role in your child’s education.
Superintendent Wayne Stanley

There is a public performance of our 1-Act Competition Play this year on Tuesday night, November 2nd. The play is called "15 Reasons NOT to do a Play!" and starts at 7:30 in the South Prairie Elementary Cafeteria.
Admission is $3.00 for adults and $2.00 for students.
The play is a comedy and includes 12 South Prairie High School students on stage and one student doing tech.
Don't miss it! It's OUR kids working together!
