𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽: May 24-28. Monday from 4:30-7:30, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 12:30-7:30 (meal provided), Friday from 9-1 with awards from 12:30-1pm. Open to girls and boys entering grades 4-12. Bus provided for transportation from South Prairie 1 hour prior to camp starting and returning 1 hour after the conclusion of camp each day. Six week session starts on June 1st and runs every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday through July 8. Three week session is also available for the first half or second half of the 6 weeks. Group activities photos for FFA, Student Council, Sources of Strength, 5th and 6th Band, High School Band, Choir, Pop's Choir, and Science Olympiad will be the morning of Wednesday, April 21st. FFA members need to bring official dress. Student council members need to wear their student council shirts or sweatshirts. Sources of Strength need to wear their light blue shirts.

The music students in grades 6-12 will be performing a spring concert on Tuesday, April 20th at 6:30 p.m. in the high school gymnasium! Mark your calendars. You don't want to miss it!

Effective Immediately - South Prairie School Board has approved moving from “Masks required when Social Distancing can not be maintained” to “Masks Optional” for all students, staff and patrons at South Prairie School."

One of our buses was rear ended today after school. Law enforcement was on the scene and all of the students have been released to their parents.

Congratulations to Lane Pitner for making the All-District 12 Basketball Team. This was announced at their last district game and he will also be recognized at the athletic banquet! Nice work, Lane!

𝙎𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝙋𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙧𝙞𝙚 𝙎𝙪𝙢𝙢𝙚𝙧 𝘽𝙖𝙨𝙠𝙚𝙩𝙗𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙎𝙠𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙨 𝘾𝙖𝙢𝙥:
Sharpen your basketball skills, improve your agility, and strengthen your core all at SP Skills Camp. South Prairie has teamed up with Trinity Sports Medicine for Skills camp this year. Campers will get 60 minutes of basketball and 20 minutes of agility and core training on Tuesdays and Thursdays each week. On Wednesdays campers will compete in basketball competitions during that time.
Campers will take a pretest the week prior to camp and a post test at the conclusion of camp to show their improvement and progress. Camper will also receive a free booklet with drills and individual workouts as well as goal sheets and shot tracker. All Campers also receive a free camp t-shirt.
6 week session starts on June 1st and run every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday through July 8. 3 week is also available for the first half or second half of the 7 weeks. Available for boys and girls entering grades 4-12. All sessions will take place at South Prairie school. 4th-6th Grade 8-9:20am and 7th-12th Grade 9:30-10:50am each day.

Garrison Mini-Camp is for boys and girls entering Kindergarten through 3rd grade in Fall of 2021. Camp will run May 25-26-27 from 9:30-11:30. Each camper will receive a free basketball and camp t-shirt. Shooting, dribbling, defense, 1 on 1 and play 5 on 5 league games each day. Entry fee is $60. A $5 discount for siblings per entry.
Garrison Trooper camp is for boys and girls entering 4th through 12th grade in the Fall of 2021. Camp will run May 24-28th. The schedule includes Monday, from 4:30-7pm with an ice cream social from 7-7:30pm, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 12:30-7:30 with a meal provided from 3:30-4:30 each day, and Friday from 12:30-4:30 with an awards ceremony from 4-4:30pm at the high school. Entry fee is $150 and includes a free basketball and t-shirt for each camper. Discount of $10 for siblings per entry.

The students in grades 6-12 will be attending the National Hockey Tournament at the Maysa arena this Thursday and Friday. These permission slips were sent home with all students and need to be returned by TOMORROW (4/13) in order for the students to attend!


🏀South Prairie 3 on 3 Basketball Spring League 🏀
Individuals can come each Sunday and be randomly placed on a team with other individuals. Each week you get points for wins and points. The last week individuals are ranked according to their points for wins and placed on a team accordingly for an end of season tournament. Prizes will be awarded for individual winners in each age group as well as tournament winners. Dates are Sundays, April 25, May 2, May 9, and May 16. 3rd-6th Grade 5-6:30pm and 7th-12th Grade 6:30-8pm. Entry fee of $100. Includes a free t-shirt.
