Just a reminder that all Pre-K to 4th grade students are asked to bring a prize bottle for the carnival and students in grades 5-8 are asked to bring donations for baskets for the auction! If you have any questions, contact a PTO member or call the elementary office!
Parent-teacher conferences are Monday, March 9th and Tuesday, March 10th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. We hope to see you there!
The senior class will also be selling Tacos in a Bag, Italian Sodas, and other drinks in the concessions area during conferences for everyone to enjoy!
Congratulations to the boys basketball team on their 2019-2020 season and for winning the Selmer Flom Sportsmanship Award at the district tournament tonight! Cade Korslien and Hayden Gibney also made the All District 12 Team and Coach Cooper was voted the District 12 Coach of the Year! South Prairie also won the Spirit Award! Great job to the players, coaches, and fans who all represent South Prairie in a positive way!

There will be no 5th and 6th grade girls basketball or track and field practice tomorrow due to the boys district basketball game.
The regional qualifier game tomorrow is at 4:00! Don’t forget that school will be dismissed at 2:50 so everyone can attend! The pep bus will leave at 2:50 and students can sign up in the office!

Monday, March 2 we will dismiss at 2:50 and run busses at 3:00 to allow fans time to attend the Boys Region Qualifying game at the Minot Auditorium.

The boys basketball team plays the DLB Lakers today at 3:00 in the second round of the district tournament! Come to the auditorium and cheer them on or tune in on KHRT radio! Good luck, boys!

Good luck to the boys basketball team today as they take on the Glenburn Panthers in the first round of the District 12 tournament. The tournament is held at the Minot Auditorium and today's game time is approximately 4:30!
The student body, led by the cheerleaders, did a great job of getting every one pumped up with cheers, positive school spirit, and fun games!

The busses with 6-8 grade ski kids will be stopping at the NDSU Extension center at approximately 6:00 and the school at 6:15.
Today six students participated in the Ward County Spelling Bee. Congratulations to Olivia, Maya, Emma, Rebecca, Jayla, and Katie for making it that far. Katie got 2nd place for 7th grade county. Rebecca got 2nd place for 8th grade county. They both went on to the oral round where Katie came in 20th and Rebecca came in 12th. We are so proud of them!

Congratulations to Lane Cooper and the Bishop Ryan Lions wrestling team on their successful state tournament! Lane placed 8th individually and the team placed 5th in team duals!
Pizza Corner Pizza pickup is tomorrow!
Parents pick up their ordered pizzas from the pizza truck from 12:00-2:00 at the Kmart parking lot OR 2:30-3:30 at the South Prairie School parking lot.
