South Prairie School will have a two hour late start tomorrow, February 18th. There will be no breakfast. The 5th grade field trip scheduled for tomorrow morning is canceled.

February 15-22 is National FFA week! To celebrate, South Prairie FFA is conducting several activities including a food drive and dress up days. Tomorrow will be America Day! Dress up in your best red, white, and blue! Wednesday is Blue and Gold or FFA apparel day! Thursday is Camo day and Friday is Hawaiian day! The food drive will continue until Friday the 21st. You will have until 10 am that day to get your donations in to count toward your class totals! We hope you join us in celebrating!

Cheer Dance Routine - 2nd place 🥈 Time Out - 4th place Jump-Off: Alyssa Korgel - 4th place Olivia Jansen - 6th place Top Sideline: Emma Reierson - 3rd place 🥉 Madisyn Bostow - 6th place All Around: Bridget Carlsten - 8th place in class A&B combined - Bridget was the only class B athlete to enter this very difficult category! All State Qualified! Other results: Brylee Beeter and Natalee Becker 2nd in Serious Duo, Karl Behm and Alan Joslin 4th in Serious Duo, Gracie Rauschenberger and Josh Lindbo 5th in Serious Duo, Brylee Beeter 3rd in Inform, Maddie Hogue 7th in Inform, Gracie Rauschenberger and Alan Joslin 5th in Humorous Duo, Anslee Schillinger 6th in Storytelling and 8th in Radio Broadcasting. The team travels to Nedrose for the Cardinal Invite next Saturday.

🍩Just a reminder that donuts with grownups is in the morning from 7:15-8:15! Parents, make sure you contact your child's bus driver to let them know if they won't be riding the bus.

Tomorrow is veteran and military appreciation night at the high school boys basketball games! All active military personnel and veterans get free admission to the game, free popcorn, and a free drink! The student athletes will be performing a flag ceremony before the varsity game, the MAFB Honor Guard will be presenting the colors for the national anthem, and the dress-up theme for the game is red, white, and blue! 🇺🇸 Come to the game and show your support!

Speech Team Rocks Today! Congratulations to the South Prairie-Max Speech Team! They had a GREAT day at the Kenmare Invitational Speech Meet! Placing 1st and State Qualifying are Natalee Becker and Maddie Hogue in Humorous Duo, Josh Lindbo in Humorous Interpretation, and Gracie Rauschenberger in Serious Interpretation. They will compete at the ND State Class B Speech Meet in Mandan on April 26th. Other winners today include Maddie Hogue 1st in Speech to Inform, Brylee Beeter 2nd in Speech to Inform, Brooke Leiss 2nd in Dramatic, Alan Joslin 2nd in Radio Broadcasting, Mia Hogue and Emma Reierson 2nd in Serious Duo, Skylar Beck 3rd in Impromptu, Brylee Beeter 3rd in Storytelling, Emma Marten 3rd in EPR, Alan Joslin and Gracie Rauschenberger 4th Humorous Duo, Skylar Beck 4th in Dramatic, Natalee Becker 4th in Humorous Interpretation, Mia Hogue 5th in Poetry Interpretation, Brooke Leiss 6th in Poetry, Anslee Schillinger 7th in Storytelling.
