On Monday, April 22nd the South Prairie-Max Speech Team State Qualifiers will hold a “Showcase of Speakers” in the Commons at South Prairie School. It will begin at 7:00 pm and all of our Region 8 Champion speakers headed to State Speech the next weekend will be performing their pieces for the public. There is no cost for the event. Don’t miss this! Our kids are so entertaining!

Activity Updates ☔️:
Softball and baseball today have been postponed. They are working on rescheduling these games but no date is set yet.
The JH/JV golf scheduled in Rugby on Thursday has been canceled.

The South Prairie Band and Choir students competed at small group regionals this last weekend. Carlyn Thomas, Rayna Falcon, Elias Jimenez, and Katelyn Leiss all received stars on their solos while Katelyn and Brooke Leiss also received a star on their duet. They will all be competing at state in Bismarck on May 4th. Congratulations everyone!

Ms. Larson's Kindergarten class is kicking off our BRAND-NEW unit "All Kids Bike Learn-To-Ride Program!" Mrs. Zietz's kindergarten class will follow once Ms. Larson's class finishes. Bike riding is a practical and tangible activity that can be practiced consistently throughout life, not just on school grounds. Biking also offers many other positive and healthy benefits! Be sure to ask your child what "2-4-1 Time for Fun" means!

This event is a great opportunity to get your girls out on the court and learn some of the technique and skill to play such a fun sport! We are excited as always to host this camp that serves as an opportunity for our high schoolers to get some coaching experience while passing on the love of the game and fundraising for our program.
