📆 Events for October 23rd - 27th! (Note, that there IS a C Squad game tonight even though it was originally not scheduled.)

To: All 6-8 Grade Parents (Reminder!)
We will be taking the 6-8 graders to North Hill Bowl on Tuesday, October 31st for our annual Junior High Bowling Tournament. We will leave school at 10:30 and arrive back at school at 3:00. The class accounts will cover the cost of the 3 games and shoe rental. If the students wish to have the sub lunch provided by Jimmy John’s, have them bring $5 to Mr. MacIver by Monday, October 23rd to help with the cost. Students who don’t want subs are encouraged to bring lunch from home. Team name/members and shoe sizes need to be handed in to Mr. Keysor by Monday, October 23rd as well. Students who fail to meet the requirements to leave school for a field trip (Eligibility List, Missing Work, Detention, Late/Overdue Library Books) will be expected to attend school for the day. If you DO NOT want your child to attend the Bowling Trip, please contact the office and let us know.
Thank You, Junior High Class Advisors

Elementary students had a fun time making their Scholastic Book Fair wishlists this week with older students who either volunteered or were chosen to help. Make sure you stop by the book fair this week before it's done this Friday!

Sorry for the late notice, there is a wrestling meeting tonight at 7:00 pm in the Bishop Ryan cafeteria for grades 6-12. Each wrestler must also have a parent present at the meeting. Because of the short notice, if you can't make the meeting, talk to Mr. Kramer and he will get you set up with the information you need.
📆 Events for this week! We'll see you all at parent-teacher conferences today and tomorrow!

Parent-Teacher Conferences are today and tomorrow from 4:00-7:00 p.m.!
These Fall conferences provide a valuable opportunity for parents and guardians to meet with our teachers, discuss their student's progress, and collaborate on ways to support their academic growth.
There are home volleyball games on Monday, so 6-12th grade conferences will be in the teachers' classrooms on Monday and then in the gym on Tuesday! Elementary conferences will be in the teachers' classrooms on both days! This year we are switching to an online signup! Elementary parents, please use the following link to choose a time for your child's conference with their classroom teacher! https://signup.com/go/txLTiNg
Other teachers will be available for you to visit with at any time from 4:00-7:00 (P.E., Art, Music, etc.).
There are some 6-12 teachers who will not be available. If you want to have a conference with them, you can email them to set up a time or check in about your child! (email addresses can be found on the school website). These are the days that the following teachers will NOT be at conferences:
Monday:
Ms. Rovig
Mrs. Thompson (until 5:45)
Mrs. Schwarzrock
Mrs. Bagwell
Mrs. Goetz
Mr. Eder
Tuesday:
Mrs. Rauschenberger
Mrs. Schwarzrock

School pictures arrived today! So parents, you can expect those to be coming home with your child!

Due to restocking issues at the Scholastic warehouse, I just learned today that the only book fair titles that can be reordered are the ones advertised on the flyer that was sent home. These flyers are posted at the book fair also. This means that when the other titles sell out, I can’t order more. Prepaid orders will be accepted for the new “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” book and the new “Cat Kid Comic Club” book.
However, there is another option available. If you use the following link, you will be able to order directly from Scholastic and items will be shipped to you:
https://bookfairs.scholastic.com/bf/southprairieschool
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Mrs. Hiltner
