The trap shooting team participated in the Top Ten shoot held in Horace today. 23 teams from North Dakota and western Minnesota brought their best ten shooters with 8 scores counting. South Prairie won with a dominating score of 775, 36 better than 2nd place. Samual Abel won the tournament with a score of 99 edging out Carson Anderson and David Abel’s scores of 98.
The Royals averaged 96.75 for the top 8 with a total score of 956 out of 1000. Nice job, everyone!

South Prairie was so lucky to have Ana be a part of our school this year! She was a foreign exchange student who came to us from Spain for her 10th grade year! She was a joy to have in our school and we wish her the absolute best as she goes back to Spain!

Dr. Mattern and the Trinity Health Sports Medicine Team would like to offer physicals for South Prairie will be offered June 16, 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. and July 11, 1:00-5:00 p.m. at the Trinity Health Dryland Room, MAYSA Arena. No appointment necessary. Athletes should bring a pre-filled out form from your school or from online (https://ndhsaa.com/files/NDHSAA_Physical_Form.pdf) with a parent signature and $30.00 cash or check payable to Trinity Health Sports Medicine.
• Only eligible athletes are those entering grades 7-12
• Forms need to be downloaded and filled out ahead of time

Trinity FASTER Program Information:
Trinity Sports Medicine is very pleased to be offering our FASTER athletics Injury Prevention and Performance Enhancement program at South Prairie High School this summer. The focus of this program is on agility, core strength, jumping with emphasis on correct landing, single leg balance, single leg strength, flexibility and much more! The FASTER program will be designed and directed by members of Trinity Health's Sports Medicine Team. FASTER will be offered on Tuesday and Thursday mornings for six weeks beginning June 6 and ending July 20. We will not schedule FASTER sessions the week of July 4th to allow families to enjoy the holiday. There is a deadline of May 26th for registration.
